Mission Statement
The mission of GHCA shall be:

To promote the proper
development of highways, streets
and transportation systems
throughout the state;
collect and disseminate information within the state on
highway, street
and transportation system
planning, finance, construction and maintenance; promote
educational and other measures for the safe use of the highways, streets
and transportation systems
and cooperate with other National and State organizations in
their efforts to establish a continued highway, street and transportation
program, and to promote the best interests of the highway
and transportation system
industry and profession throughout the nation;

To combat unfair practices
and encourage the spirit of cooperation among contractors engaged in all
branches of highway and transportation system construction;

To act as a
representative body in placing before public officials, engineers, the
general public and other organizations, the viewpoint of the contractor in
matters of mutual interest.

To assist contractors in
maintaining their organizations on the basis of greatest efficiency;
