In June 2007, GHCA will celebrate 70 years of advocating for Georgia's
highway construction industry.
We will also mark our 69th anniversary of being affiliated with the
American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA).
Upon joining in 1937, we were the first state contractor chapter to join
ARBA (as it was known then).
Although proud of our past, we are very excited about the future of the
association. From government relations to grassroots activities, we
remain committed to serving the specific needs of members involved in
Georgia’s highway construction industry. We are the industry’s forum for
open communication with the Georgia Department of Transportation and
government leaders.
